I love taking pictures of people, capturing their personality, and preserving their memories. I also love taking pictures of landscapes and the beauty of nature. For the past several years my husband and I loved exploring the Rocky Mountains and surrounding areas while living in Colorado.
Now that we're back in Michigan I'm looking forward to exploring the state again.
Here are a few of my favorites. Check out more pictures at http://www.britneymay.com/landscapes.html.
My husband and I went to our first dance together last weekend in over a decade. It was a Valentine's Dance, and of course we had to take pre-dance pictures. We had a blast and it was a nice change of pace.
Happy Valentines Day!
Are you getting married this year?

It’s Fat Tuesday!
For many this is a day of indulgence before giving up something for Lent. While I’m not Catholic, I like the idea of giving something up or adding something to my routine that is not typical. It helps me strengthen my relationship with God.
Many people will be enjoying one or two (or more) Paczkis (punch-key) today. I myself have never had one and today will not be the day I do for the first time. I’m not a donut fan and that’s what it resembles to me.
In the midst of the vast white snow, a bright red cardinal perched on a tree outside our dining room. The contrast was simply beautiful!
